Cellist PETER EOM makes his debut at The nanoSTAGE.
Immerse yourself in a synthesis of the new and dazzling music of our time, delivered by musicians of intense virtuosic abilities and candid expressive prowess, ever on display. From 7 to 8pm, under every full moon this Fall, meet us at 1001 R Bloor Street West (down the south laneway to the scarlet building double white doors.)
A Toronto homecoming: PIANO LUNAIRE returns to its west end Toronto origins, re-inaugurating The nanoSTAGE (now at a new location) on every full moon. On Wednesday, November 5th we launch present the second installment of the SUPERMOON TRIPTYCH under a full Beaver Moon. Join Peter Eom and Adam Sherkin for music by John Zorn, Ana Sokolovic, Gyorgi Kurtag and Harrison Birtwistle.
Armed with a versatility of creative interests ranging from literature to fashion, Peter Eom (pronounced “aw-m”) has been hailed for his “flowing, lyrical quality of sound” and “agility, purity of intonation, and sureness of taste” (Harald Eggebrecht, Süddeutsche Zeitung, 2022).
