Pianist Adam Sherkin presents Canadian, South African and American works for solo piano and electronics at The nanoSTAGE on the FLOWER MOON.
Immerse yourself in a synthesis of the new and dazzling music of our time, delivered by musicians of intense virtuosic abilities and candid expressive prowess, ever on display. From 7 to 8pm, under every full moon this Fall, meet us at 1001 R Bloor Street West (down the south laneway to the scarlet building double white doors.)
A Toronto homecoming: PIANO LUNAIRE returns to its west end Toronto origins, re-inaugurating The nanoSTAGE (now at a new location) on every full moon. On Friday, May 1st, join Adam Sherkin on piano with The nanoSTAGE's new sound system, featuring music* music by Chris Cerrone, Shaun Naidoo, Nico Muhly and Adam Sherkin.
* much of this programme was originally scheduled to be presented at our WOLF MOON event in January of 2026. That event was cancelled and the repertoire is offered instead on May's FLOWER MOON.
